Breaking – I have confirmed with
sources in Park City, UT that Seattle University will become the ninth
member of the Western Athletic Conference. The Redhawks will hold a
press conference at 4 PM, following the WAC teleconference at 3.
The WAC of 2012 will now include San Jose State, Utah State, Idaho,
New Mexico State, Louisiana Tech, Denver, UTSA, Texas State, and
Seattle. UTSA, Texas State, Seattle and Denver will be replacing
Hawaii, Fresno State, and Nevada-Reno.
Seattle and Denver do not field football teams.
